Training and presentation skills

An interactive training course for children’s specialists and others to identify skills and techniques for delivering informative, effective and lively presentations and training sessions to other practitioners, children, parents and carers.

The course is accompanied by a useful set of handouts.

Expected learning outcomes:

  • greater confidence when making presentations and delivering training
  • more understanding of learning styles and ways to support them
  • greater awareness of barriers to learning and methods for overcoming them
